The “Presto” Female Chamber Chorus was established by Kamil Chałupnik upon the initiative of young singers from schools and colleges based in Łódź. The chorus has won three awards at the Cantio Lodziensis Nationwide Choral Festival; its other accolades include Grand Prix at the Spychów Nationwide Choral Festival, Silver Tuning Fork at the Bydgoszcz Nationwide “A Capella” Choral Festival, and Bronze Diploma at the “Gaude Cantem” International Choral Competition in Bielsko Biała. The chorus has also given a concert in Vienna upon the invitation of the city authorities. “The Singing Heads” Male Chamber Chorus was set up in 2013. This group of young enthusiasts is led by its founder, Mariusz Lewy, who is also the leader of the “Chorus (Not) for Dummies” at the Arthur Rubinstein Philharmonic. Over the past several months, the ensemble won second prize in the “Vocal Ensembles” category at the 17th Cantio Lodziensis Festival, Silver Diploma at the 6th “Ars Liturgica” Nationwide Competition in Gniezno, and Bronze Diploma at the 7th Nationwide Passion Song Competition in Bydgoszcz. During this concert the young artist will perform classic, gospel and some pop music standards.
