Chamber music concerts

Chamber music is equally important to us to symphony music. It gives the listeners the feeling of direct encounter or even intimacy in experiencing art. To the artists, they are a great challenge: they require self-reliance and creativity, just as during solo performances. At the same time, they assume the same cooperation as in the case of orchestra play.

The Lodz Philharmonic offers ideal conditions for listening to and playing chamber music in the basement of the building, and namely in the Henryk Czyż hall. The hall houses 100 listeners and, if necessary, may be extended to twice the size. Such renowned musicians as Rafał Blechacz, Idil Biret, Jacek Delong, the Silesian Quartet or the Rubinstein Quartet performed in the chamber music hall.
