Symphony concerts

Symphony concerts are the core of the Lodz Philharmonic repertoire. Their program features symphonies, concert overtures, symphonic poems, solo concerts with orchestra.

Symphonic works allow the listener to enjoy the full sound and emotional potential of such a large and diverse ensemble as a symphonic orchestra, and to learn the features of particular musical styles, particular composers and epochs.

The orchestra also participates in oratorio concerts, in which, apart from an ensemble of instrumentalists, an essential part is played by the Lodz Philharmonic choir. The repertoire of these concerts includes oratorios, cantatas, masses and other vocal and instrumental works.
