‘With the combination of film and live show
performances The Metropolitan Opera created a new quality in Art’ – ‘The Los
Angeles Times’ wrote enthusiastically after the first broadcast from New York
in 2006. The art of Opera in its new dimension was brought to Poland in 2008 by
Andrzej Sulek, the director of the Philharmonic Orchestra at that time. Lodz
music lovers were the first to experience the enchantment of art together with
the audience in New York. Other institutions followed The Lodz Philharmonic Orchestra.
